Artist Statement: This abstract piece of art encapsulates the mere illusion of cities collapsing and nature taking over. The abstract strokes at the bottom represent water flowing into the city and swallowing the city whole. The abstract curvatures at the top resemble the effects that create a fallen city, buildings being knocked over, windows pieces of a building missing. Resembling something that was once so architecturally bound, becoming distant pieces of what it once was.
