Artist Statement: This painting encapsulates the abstract yet profoundness of detail and each living mammal. The combination of a Lion representing Laura’s astrology symbol of a Leo, and the girl representing the embodiment of the lion's strength flowing into her creating, one strong, and vibrant individual. The eyes of the Lion and Woman look into the viewer's soul, almost telling a story of all the things they have been through, together as one.
